Just in time for the 100th Anniversary of the 19th Amendment granting women the right to vote! This historical photo collage features famed American suffragist, Alice Paul, an absolutely extraordinary leader and accomplished woman. Ms. Paul dedicated her life to the cause of equal rights for women and championed not only the 19th Amendment but also the Equal Rights Amendment but did get an equal rights affirmation included in the charter of the United Nations. She worked tirelessly for equality and civil rights including being arrested, force fed during hunger strikes in prison, attacked, ridiculed, and so on but she kept fighting for equality until a debilitating stroke in 1974. She lived only three more years. Alice Paul (1885-1977) is an example to us all!
