The loose brushwork and open countryside make weather and light central to the Impressionist landscape. This oil on canvas is held by the National Gallery of Art in Washington.

I wanted a tapestry fabric to drape over a large table. Real tapestry fabric and tapestries are VERY expensive. For a 140.00 investment I achieved the look very nicely. Actually looks better in person. The tablecloth also came much earlier than I had expected. I had to blow up the pattern to fit a larger tablecloth and was concerned about the registration. It turned out quite well. Kind of pattern that adapts well.
