Alaskan Sea Otter Photo Jigsaw Puzzle
This is a photo of a sea otter clinging to kelp fronds near a beach on Unalaska Island. A few sea otters live in the bays of Unalaska Island as residents. Large troups of gypsy sea otters come and go as they travel from island to island, harvesting sea urchins and butter clams from the bays. Sea otters are vital to the health of the kelp beds which support the off shore ecosystem. Because the sea otters groom sea urchins from the kelp beds, they keep the urchins, which feed on kelp, from destroying the kelp beds.

I was a bit disappointed to find that for the price the puzzle was only a small 252 pieces ..... but ....... it is so intricate that if it was bigger I would be frazzled by now
bought as a special Christmas jigsaw for work colleagues to play with in our breaks - it is a great way to get the team to collaborate on something fun, and to start conversations between folk, and a great positive opportunity to provide compliments on the effort put in and progress being made
the puzzle itself is beautifully made - each piece feels lovely (not a cheap cardboard puzzle) and the shapes are all similar but different
Still a work in progress after a week - it's great!!!!
a truly lovely thing ... it will come out each year - both at work and at home. great image, and fantastic finish on the pieces
