Alamosaurus (Dinosaur Fun) Coffee Mug

No need to be a paleontologist to enjoy any of these dinosaur drawing gifts featuring the Alamosaurus, a genus of titanosaurian sauropod dinosaur from the Late Cretaceous Period of what is now North America and a large quadrupedal herbivore. Curiously enough, the name Alamosaurus comes from Ojo Alamo, the former name for the geologic formation in which it was found (that part of the Ojo Alamo Formation has since been reassigned to Kirtland Shale) and which was, in turn, named after the nearby Ojo Alamo trading post. The term alamo itself is a Spanish word meaning "poplar" and is used for the local subspecies of cottonwood tree. Make others do a double-take with a blast from our prehistoric past with any of these Alamosaurus gifts!

The quality of these larger mugs is very good. I have been putting mine through the dishwasher all the time and it shows no signs of fading or dulling. Ergonomically these are lovely to hold and have fast become my favourite mug for a big cup of tea or coffee. Totally recommend getting the tea infuser with the mug especially if you like using loose leaf tea, which always tastes better from my experience and is better for the environment. Printing was good, bright and most importantly accurately matches the colouring shown on the website.
