"Akershus Castle in Olso, Norway" by Catherine Sherman. The mediaeval stone fortification of Akershus Fortress looms on the shore of Oslofjord in Oslo, the capital of Norway. Also known as Akershus Castle, the fortress has also been used as a prison. King Haakon V started construction on the castle in the late 1290s in response to a major attack on the city of Oslo. Akershus Fortress became one of the two most important Norwegian castles of the period.

I was a bit disappointed to find that for the price the puzzle was only a small 252 pieces ..... but ....... it is so intricate that if it was bigger I would be frazzled by now bought as a special Christmas jigsaw for work colleagues to play with in our breaks - it is a great way to get the team to collaborate on something fun, and to start conversations between folk, and a great positive opportunity to provide compliments on the effort put in and progress being made the puzzle itself is beautifully made - each piece feels lovely (not a cheap cardboard puzzle) and the shapes are all similar but different Still a work in progress after a week - it's great!!!! a truly lovely thing ... it will come out each year - both at work and at home. great image, and fantastic finish on the pieces
