The white rose is set against a blue field, representing heaven, to signify that earthly joy and faith are just the beginning of eternal heavenly joy. Surrounding the blue field is a gold ring, symbolising the endless and precious happiness of heaven.

There is a small Lutheran rose atop a cross on the front of this shirt and a large rose on the back of it. For those unfamiliar with the Lutheran rose, they may wonder what it is. But it's obvious it's Christian. It could be a nice and attractive conversation starter. It's also a great way to start off a year-long celebration of the Reformation's 500th anniversary, which kicks off Oct. 31, 2016. The white ink on a dark shirt is very attractive and subtle. I could dress it up or down, if I wanted.
