However some survive, cave paintings go back to 100,000 years ago and necklaces back 75,000 years ago. In reality, it could be truthfully stated that the cave paintings are recorded history. Although most of the art in the far past has been lost. The overwhelming creative influence of Africans in art, design and sound are seen today everywhere in sculptures, paintings, body painting, hair styles, clothing, textile designs, jewellery, music, dance, song, public speaking, writing and other creative forms and expressions. African creativity is a strong, dynamic emotional force arising from African culture and it is almost never successfully imitated. African creativity is a never ending explosion of vision, sound, movement and touch.
