" Africa: 1935 Detailed MAP ... Poster

This beautiful map of Africa was published in June 1935 and is a must for all map collectors! In the early 20th century much has changed in Africa. Access to air travel and more cars made a significant advance. You will find on this map country borders including protectorates, colonial territories for England, France, Italy, Belgium, Portugal, Spain and the Independent countries, cities and numerous other place names, railways and roads. Geographical details such as mountains, valleys, deserts and islands such as Madagascar are also taken into account. A map section shows the Cape Verde Islands. Another map inset shows Africa with a relief, so that differences in height are particularly clear. The flight routes of that time were also shown.
