With Aesop’ fable of the Mouse and the Lion, we learn that little friends sometimes prove to be great friends, indeed! A sleeping lion was awakened by a mouse running back and forth on him. “Forgive me and let me go!” The mouse, “I’ll help you out someday.” The lion, tickled that a mouse might be able to help him, let him go. Later when the lion was ensnared in a trap: the little mouse happened by and gnawed away the netting. Sometimes it is good to remember all of those who help us in our times of need. Story by Aesop, design by Meredith Eliassen, 2017.

A beautiful card. Highest quality materials and print. Misunderstood the explanation of the gold accent. I took it as the design would be metallic in its appearance. Still a lovely card and I am extremely happy with it overall. Perfect, only that I expected the gold to be metallic.
