I bought this on canvas and it looks like it really was painted. I have received many compliments already. However, the picture is not a standard size and doesn't exactly fit any frame. I bought an inexpensive off-the-shelf poster frame in dark wood and had a custom mat cut to fit it, so it wasn't too expensive, though. Gorgeous, rich, saturated color. I'm very, very pleased!

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
