Abstract art stick figure mouse pad gift for mom

This is a drawing my son created last year. He turned 18 this year. Although I engage in drawing and various handicrafts—particularly crafting bamboo and wood eyewear—I have never formally taught my child how to draw. It was not until the day he placed a black-and-white stick figure on the table—still, in my view, his most remarkable work to date—that I noticed upon returning home from work that he possessed a natural talent for art. Currently, he is actively preparing applications to art universities in the UK. This particular artwork addresses environmental issues and consists of four thematic sketches featuring giraffes, polar bears, zebras, and elephants. Each depicts a mother and offspring together, symbolizing "fewer leaves – giraffes," "fewer grasslands – zebras," "diminishing sea ice – polar bears," and "scarcer water sources – elephants," respectively.
