    About This Design

Abraham Lincoln House Divided Cannot Stand Quote Mouse Pad

Abraham Lincoln House Divided Cannot Stand Quote Mouse Pad

Before Abraham Lincoln became 16th President of the United States he foresaw the Civil War. Recreated on these historical quote gifts is a memorable quotation from Abraham Lincoln's "House Divided" speech that he gave in 1958. Quotation says: "A house divided against itself cannot stand." I believe this government cannot endure, permanently half slave and half free. I do not expect the Union to be dissolved — I do not expect the house to fall — but I do expect it will cease to be divided. It will become all one thing or all the other." Memorable gifts for all American Civil War fans and historians!

First time ordering with Zazzle so did not know what to expect but it was delivered promptly and has a lovely feel. Wanted a new mouse mat & only ones available were $2 cheap & nasty. Use it with the Peacock Eyes at the top and it looks and feel great. Very happy with printing colours excellent.
