[Maruni Ubachi] Ume-mon is roughly divided into two types: Baika-mon (plum flower) which is depicted realistically and Umebachi-mon (plum flower) which is deformed. Overwhelmingly, there are many Umebachi-mon. Among umebachi, 'maru ni umebachi' is the most commonly used. (Reference: "The Origin of Family Crest" written by Hitoshi TAKASAWA.)

This wrapping is very high quality, the paper is nice and thick and the colour is gorgeous. I always use blue at Christmas and was having trouble finding just the right colour and quality - this roll was just perfect. The quality, design and colour are exactly as expected. No disappointments here. Won’t ever go back to cheap wrapping that tears at the corners ever again.
