A Perfect Day - Mug
Towards the end of 2021, I was approached by the principal of the college where I worked to create an artwork that would celebrate the many years of service that one of the assistant principals had given to the college. I met with her family and learnt of her love of the Werribee River and pelicans. I was able to combine the two in the soft chalk-pastel drawing which I named 'A Perfect Day'. The artwork was based on a photograph I had taken along 'The Cliffs' - not far from Werribee Mansion. It truly was a perfect day, weather-wise, and I was stunned by the landscape that lay before me. I had lived in the area for over twenty years and didn't realise this slice of paradise existed! I'm pleased to be able to share this image with you now and I hope that it will fill you with peaceful, restful thoughts amidst the busyness and trials of life.

The quality of these larger mugs is very good. I have been putting mine through the dishwasher all the time and it shows no signs of fading or dulling. Ergonomically these are lovely to hold and have fast become my favourite mug for a big cup of tea or coffee.
Totally recommend getting the tea infuser with the mug especially if you like using loose leaf tea, which always tastes better from my experience and is better for the environment. Printing was good, bright and most importantly accurately matches the colouring shown on the website.
