Jesus' parable of the mustard seed compared to the kingdom of heaven. I love this image that reminds me of how small things can be of great consequence to God and His Plans. The original watercolor was painted soon after I saw the movie "Forest Gump". I was inspired by the symbol of the white feather that silently appeared from time to time. Do you see the white feather in the painting? (next to the cherub.) Notice the cherub holding the mustard seed. Too small? My point exactly.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
