There are a lot of people who will endlessly argue over Shakespeare, whether he actually wrote his plays or not. Some say this man from Avon in the Midlands with no Cambridge education, could not have written any of the works attributed to him. Also, that those highborn who would have gone to Cambridge were too lofty to have written those works, as it was much looked down upon, and would have had to use nom de plume. And Shakespeare is a great one, I mean, what a fantastic name. But in the end, who really cares? Shakespeare is still celebrated 400+ years after his death. I say Shakespeare is winning no matter the outcome of the argument.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
