The A-10 Thunderbolt II is a formidable combat jet effective at attacking ground targets for the US Air Force. The Thunderbolt II also known as the "Warthog" was built around it's tank busting 30mm Gatling-style gun. The A-10 is exceptionally tough, being able to survive direct hits from armour-piercing and high-explosive projectiles and continue on flying back to base.
