6th Guards Tank Brigade T-Shirt
The 6th Guards Tank Brigade was originally part of the Guards Armored Division. Later, the Brigade became an independent tank brigade equipped with British Churchill infantry tanks. The brigade went on to take part in the Battle of Normandy in Operation Bluecoat, Operation Veritable finally ending the war at Lübeck on the Baltic Sea. The Brigade was disbanded in June 1945 when the Guards armored troops returned to their traditional infantry role.
