The turkeys were staying near the barn until the tom turkey suddenly appeared strutting down the road, followed by a loosely organised line of chickens. Because all gates were closed, he took the long way around. He stopped and dipped his feet in the only puddle on the road. Pedicure, anyone?” Vickie lives on our 440-acre Cedar Mountain Farm in North Idaho. Surrounded by mountains and hay fields and wild flora and fauna, the forested farm offers dramatic clouds, scenic vistas, a rustic pond and rippling creek, and outdoor family adventures. Vickie is at home with rabbits, chickens, horses, sheep and goats, and loves to introduce them to guests of all ages. She always has her camera in hand.
