The "49th Secession Ausstellung" was created by Egon Schiele as an advertising poster for the Vienna exhibition in 1918. Egon Schiele was an Austrian artist who was mentored by Klimt and who was a very successful artist, draftsman and printmaker. His solo show at the Vienna Secession of 1918 brought him fame and fortune at age 28. Unfortunately he caught influenza and he died a few months later.
