45 rpm vinyl record adapter 6 cm round badge
It looks like a cool symbol but in reality, it is a 45 rpm adapter for vinyl single records of the mid 20th century. It was a small plastic piece that is placed in the centre of a 45 rpm record. The adapter allows for the record to be played on a turntable’s 78 rpm or LP-size spindle. There were several shapes, this one was the second most common (RCA's 'spider' was the most common).
