With his black steed horse, Daredevil, they stopped just to exchange their pumpkin for Ichabod's pumpkin pie. Red covered bridge and large tree in the background. Notice the wind blown cat tails hitting the log (like in the Disney short animated feature "Ichabod Crane", dirt road, lush grass, pond, and yellow harvest full moon in the scene. Hand painted, marker, mix media, and digital art scene by me, Kristie Hubler. Inspired by the book by Washington Irving, "Sleepy Hollow". Great for Halloween or fall home decor, a statement piece in any room!
The letters and numbers, for the day numbers, weekdays, months, and year are in my own "Fabric Font" that I created initially for my business logo in 2000, being that I work with fabric photo frame crafts, I expanded on it to make calendars in 2013, it is simulated lengths of fabric, folded and draped to form 110 characters, the "Fabric Font" is available, to buy, download, and install on apps that allow you to change font styles!

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
