2020 Tour de France GC espresso cup

This espresso cup shows the movement in general classification as the top ten riders rise and fall and rise again at the 2020 Tour de France. Each year the palette and design is the same, but the events of the race define the unique pattern. The variations on yellow reference the coveted maillot jaune - the yellow jersey awarded to the winner of the general classification. 2020 will be remembered as the year new-comer Tadej Pogocar blitzed his countryman Primoz Roglic in the stage 20 time trial, to take yellow for the final stage and ride to Paris. Australians will remember Richie Porte climbing to the Tour podium for the first time after so many years of bad luck and trying.
