2019 Tour de France GC espresso cup

This espresso cup shows the movement in general classification as the top ten riders rise and fall and rise again at the 2019 Tour de France. Each year the palette and design is the same, but the events of the race define the unique pattern. The variations on yellow reference the coveted maillot jaune - the yellow jersey awarded to the winner of the general classification. 2019 will be remembered for two men: - Julian Alaphilippe, who grasped the yellow jersey early, lost it, recovered it, and kept France on the edge of it's seat for three week, hoping, praying he could last to Paris; and - Egan Bernal, the phenom who rode into the yellow jersey as if by accident on a weather affected stage that changed Team Sky / Ineos forever.
