1959 Chevrolet Bel Air retro '50's car. This junkyard version is from an original 1:18 scale diecast model. Imagine....................... that this car has been sitting behind an older motel in Daytona Beach for 40 years. (I was born and raised in Daytona, "The Birthplace of Speed", and what Florida Boy didn't love his cars!) Never washed or cleaned but kept under a partial cover, the Sun has long been fading what used to be a red and white interior and age and ocean spray have yellowed the white. While this car still can crank up and go once in a blue moon with a little effort;...the sea-spray has taken its toll on the entire surface. No solid rust throughs on this one visible, but its just under the skin.... This car print would be a perfect addition to any model collection, and especially for Chevrolet lovers, who know how sought after and unique the 1959 Impala was. The wings were radical for its day.
