This great advertisement poster was for the 1958 Grand Prix of Cuba. The race was held in Havana, and was the second of three total races in Cuba. This race was significant in that Fangio was kidnapped by pro-Castro forces on the eve of the race and release unharmed after the race, while a Ferrari crashed into the stands killing 7 spectators leading to the cancellation of the 1959 race.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs. it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
