1950s three aces for Ace combs Cushion
Back in the day, you could find comb ads in the backs of magazines, unlike today, when you can get 10 combs for a buck at the dollar store. Nevertheless, a VERY cool example of Mid-Century modern advertising, which reads ‘Well-groomed people going places in purse or pocket carry Aces.’ Note that the image is on both sides of the pillow. Loved how this turned out. I used a photo from one of my paintings, gifted it to my daughter, she adored it. Very crisp and clear. Turned out better than I thought it would. Perfect!
