Vinegar valentines were comic – and very slightly insulting – ‘valentines,’ popular from the 1890s up to around the 1940s. This one’s aimed at the obsessed baseball fan, to wit: ‘Of all the pests I’ve ever known, You are the worst of all, You eat and sleep and talk and think, entirely base-ball.’ This is a blank card -- it needs you to come up with a snappy message.
