Awhile back I bought out the estate of a fellow who was a BIG collector of old fruit and vegetable crate labels - we’re talking dozens and dozens of them. Including this one, which has a pretty queen, who looks a bit like 1930s star Madeleine Carroll. And, of course, the image looks neat on all kinds of EVERYTHING, including posters. Note that there are HUNDREDS of items in my shop bearing images from old fruit and vegetable crates, old fruit and vegetable can labels, and old cigar box labels. Fun fun fun !!! Wanna see more old? I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!

Absolutely superb Art Deco poster. The colours are vibrant, sympathetic to the era and perfect for use. I framed it and hung above the entrance to my Art Deco inspired lounge room. Stunning!
