Second of 2 posters of the same product, from a factury brochure, recolored, retouched and restored.
When this product was introduced around 1910, the American manufacturer marketed as 'an improvement on leather' for all things leather (furniture, automobiles, shoes, trunks and so on). In the 1920s the product (cotton coated with nitrocellulose was used heavily in both automobile seat covers and the tops of convertible automobiles.
