The 1916 Proclamation was a document issued by the Irish Volunteers and Irish Citizen Army during the 1916 Easter Rising in Ireland. In it, the Provisional Government of the Irish Republic, proclaimed Ireland's independence from the United Kingdom. The proclamation was read by Pádraig Pearse outside the General Post Office in the heart of Dublin.
All seven signatories of the document were executed by the British State.
The 1916 Easter Rising lead to the eventual independence of the Republic of Ireland.

I was a bit disappointed to find that for the price the puzzle was only a small 252 pieces ..... but ....... it is so intricate that if it was bigger I would be frazzled by now
bought as a special Christmas jigsaw for work colleagues to play with in our breaks - it is a great way to get the team to collaborate on something fun, and to start conversations between folk, and a great positive opportunity to provide compliments on the effort put in and progress being made
the puzzle itself is beautifully made - each piece feels lovely (not a cheap cardboard puzzle) and the shapes are all similar but different
Still a work in progress after a week - it's great!!!!
a truly lovely thing ... it will come out each year - both at work and at home. great image, and fantastic finish on the pieces
