1910 Lovely Woman Thespian Garrick Theatre Chicago Notebook
A beautiful thespian woman advertising the Garrick Theatre in Chicago. The Garrick theatre opened in 1891 and was an Adler and Sullivan designed building. Sadly, it was torn down in 1961 to make way for a parking lot. The demolition was the impetus for the historic preservation movement in Chicago.
