1906 Vintage European peacocks wallpaper art Poster
"Peacocks" was painted by a Latvian textile artist Julijs Straume (1874–1970), on paper with tempera paint. After his studies in St. Petersburg, he obtained a scholarship that enabled him to live in Paris from 1905 to 1907. During his stay, he created the most beautiful textile and wallpaper designs of his career, including this lovely arrangement. Signed by the artist on the bottom right corner.
P.S This is an extremely rare find of vintage Art Nouveau European art; you can get Mucha and William Morris on every corner, but this?! No. Only available exclusively at my shop. Enhance your Art Nouveau or peacock collection with something fresh; on the other hand, it makes a delightful gift to art lovers and Latvians alike.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!

Absolutely superb Art Deco poster. The colours are vibrant, sympathetic to the era and perfect for use. I framed it and hung above the entrance to my Art Deco inspired lounge room. Stunning!
