1890's Women Woman Tug-O-War Fox River blue Tote Bag

An exceedingly rare image of women engaged in the sport of Tug of War or Tug-O-War circa 1890’s. These Edwardian women were enjoying a day on the banks of the beautiful Fox River near Elgin Illinois over one hundred and twenty five years ago. This image is a scan of an original glass negative in my collection. The image is in soft focus. I have tinted it a sepia tone and will be adding more colours in the future. This item would be a perfect gift for the Tugger in your life. Ideal for carrying water and necessities to the next Tug of War event!

I LOVED this bag! The colours are vibrant and the quality of the bag itself is great. It’s polyester but it’s sturdy and the base sits flat on the ground so it’s able to stand up without falling over when there’s contents in it.
