About This Design
1880 Chinese Chrysanthemum Pattern Art Poster
An authentic late 19th-century lithographic design plate isolating traditional Chinese chrysanthemum motifs, stylised petal clusters, and repeating autumn foliage borders. Sourced from the industrial pattern sourcebooks compiled by A. F. Stoddard & Company, this asset documents the delicate radial symmetry, fluid line work, and disciplined layout metrics unique to historic East Asian botanical design. The digital file has been engineered for high-fidelity reproduction, maintaining the subtle granular ink quality while removing aged paper staining and edge deterioration. Its elegant structural rhythm and high texture density make it an exceptional visual anchor for boutique design studios, textile archives, or modern minimalist framing.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!

Absolutely superb Art Deco poster. The colours are vibrant, sympathetic to the era and perfect for use. I framed it and hung above the entrance to my Art Deco inspired lounge room. Stunning! The print is precise, clear and of an excellent standard. It was cleverly packaged so there wasn’t a blemish or crease. Perfect!
