From a German fashion magazine entitled ‘Allegemeine Moden-Zeitung,’ which, although not a direct translation, would probably have been called something like ‘Latest Fashions News’ in English. These old fashion magazines - no matter where they came from -- had marvellous hand-coloured plates. This one is no exception. Note that the scene appears on both sides of the pillow, in mirror image. Note also that my store has TONS more Victorian fashion plates and prints on all kinds of EVERYTHING. Wanna see more old?
