17th Cavalry Regiment Colour patch Coffee Mug

I had the same mug with only the regimental crests, but decided to use the custom service to mark the unit with a new mug. I liked the results so well with the one I sent to an old vet friend of mine for his 80th birthday, that I decided to get one for myself with our old unit printed on it. I am ordering one for another veteran buddy tomorrow and another with a slightly different unit designation for an older vet in the same unit back in 1955. I thought the design was very faithful to the Unit Crest of the 17th Cav. The custom service was simple and easy to use and was far beyond what I expected with the printing. Since we were a paratrooper unit at that time it would be nice to have the option of the jump wing oval design (Red & White) on one side in lieu of the crest or even have one side with the 101st Airborne Patch, both of which would be popular with the old vets. There is a 17th Cav Association that holds reunions and has a website for members and nonmembers. I sure an advertisement on their website would bring a lot of orders from our membership.
