1785 Map of Lisbon Poster
The capital of Portugal appears as it was at the end of the reconstruction works undertaken in the aftermath of the 1755 Lisbon earthquake, under the leadership of prime-minister the Marquis of Pombal. The city had been nearly razed to the ground in the massive earthquake and tsunami, with some 10 to 100,000 dead, that came to be known as the Great Lisbon Earthquake.
Original size: 16.14" x 12.09" (40,99 x 30,71 cm).
The master file from which prints are actually produced is 9683 x 7254 pixels large, and has been processed for maximum clarity and fidelity, preserving all of the detail of the original. Print dimensions have been limited so that it will never print at less than 300 pixels per inch.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
