11th Airborne Division "Arctic Angels" Grunge T-Shirt
The 11th Airborne Division Tribute design honours the brave "Arctic Angels" of the United States military. This airborne unit was formed in 1943 and became popular in the Philippines during WWII. The Arctic Angels were renowned on the battlefield for their daring jumps and fierce fighting. Following their victories, they joined Japan's occupation forces and demonstrated their bravery and fortitude.
The 11th Airborne Division will take over as the name of the US Military Alaska headquarters in 2022. The 1st and 4th Brigade Combat Teams were renamed as the 1st and 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Teams of the 11th Airborne Division, respectively.
This design commemorates both the 11th Airborne Division's legacy and the brave men and women who served there.
