Molted feather from a companion bird, raised from an egg. Collected, washed in protective soap and laid out by hand to dry in a breezeless room. I photograph the plume with a Nikor macro lens. Composited in PhotoShop to form a Feather Rishi in the shape of the symbol for the sound of the universe. The design is on the front and back of the pillow. From Lewis Mark Grimes "Feather Rishi Collection."
