大名家には定紋の他に替紋が複数あるのが一般的だ。毛利家にも定紋の「抱き沢瀉(だきおもだか)」と替紋がいくつかあるが、今回は一文字三つ星紋を取り上げた。 毛利四家の定紋、沢瀉(おもだか)紋。 長門沢瀉、徳山沢瀉、長府(府中)沢瀉、清末沢瀉 毛利四家の替紋、一文字三つ星紋。 長門三つ星、徳山三つ星、長府(府中)三つ星、清末三つ星 図案は、高橋賢一著「大名家の家紋」を参考に、私の家紋解釈で作図(2015.9.22)した。 清末毛利家の一文字は、長門三つ星に復すと同書にある。
