真田六文銭

さなだろくもんせん／銭（ぜに）紋／呼称であるが、「平安紋鑑」「紋典」「家紋大図鑑」等では”真田銭”、「紋の志をり」「紋之泉」「日本の紋章」では”真田六文銭”、「定紋の研究」では”信濃真田六文連銭”、「家紋の事典」では”六連銭”としている。／無文銭：この図案のように四角い穴だけを入れた銭。（文字のあるものは”有文銭”）／無文銭では真田氏（信濃国松代藩）が特に有名で、その意味は死後に必要とされるという六道銭を意味している。六道とは地獄・餓鬼・畜生・修羅・人間・天上の六つの道で、それぞれの道に六道能化の地蔵がおり、六文の銭はその地蔵に渡す宝賽である。戦場に翻る六連銭は、持つ者には死を賭する覚悟を表し、見る者には地獄への渡し賃として恐れられた。（高澤等著「家紋の事典」より）／六連銭紋：これは仏教の六道銭からきている。六道とは地獄、餓鬼、畜生、修羅、人間、天上のこと。死者があの世に旅立つとき,ゼニ六文を棺に入れ、三途の川の渡り賃とし、地蔵尊に六道の往生を救ってもらう・・（丹羽基二著「家紋大図鑑」より）／真田幸村、真田信之がこの家紋。

This was exactly what was wanted for my piano crazy grandson! He is self taught & is now having lessons by a top teacher and has been asked to play at various venues in the US!
